Emily S. Fields joined Mantese Honigman, PC as an associate following graduation of law school. During law school, Ms. Fields also worked as a student attorney in her school’s Criminal Appellate Clinic. Ms. Fields served as the Voting Senior Articles Editor on the Wayne Law Review. Her note, “VII Divided by Four: The Four-Way Circuit Split Over the Title VII ‘Religious Organization’ Exemption” was published in the Wayne Law Review in 2017.
While in law school, Ms. Fields had the privilege of participating in the Wayne Law Team. The Team was created to allow students to participate in DeBoer v. Snyder, one of the four cases that comprised Obergefell v. Hodges, at the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Fields conducted research for the legal team that represented the Michigan plaintiffs as they prepared their briefs and arguments. She is proud to have been involved in the landmark case and the achievement of marriage equality.
Ms. Fields brings her detailed research and cogent writing skills to the firm. Her passion for justice and dedication to helping those who have been wronged make her a zealous advocate for her clients.
