James A. Buster
James A. Buster specializes in commercial litigation, shareholder disputes and real estate law. Mr. Buster began his legal career as a legal assistant at MH during law school and later joined MH as a law clerk after graduation in 2016. During law school, Mr. Buster also worked as a legal assistant in a prestigious real estate law firm to develop expertise in real estate litigation. During his final year of law school, Mr. Buster broadened his learning experience by his internship with the Honorable Judge Henry W. Saad at the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Mr. Buster was awarded a full tuition scholarship to Wayne State University Law School for outstanding academic performance. He also received the Gold and Silver Key Awards for scholastic excellence during law school. Mr. Buster also was recognized for his outstanding abilities in civil procedure and contracts for which he was honored with the Civil Procedure and Contracts Scholar Awards. Mr. Buster also won the Arthur M. Neef Moot Court Competition, as well as Best Team Petitioner Brief Award. He graduated 2nd in his class from Wayne State University Law School with the highest distinction of summa cum laude.
Mr. Buster has a strong sense of duty to his community and his clients. He is committed to our country and has been selected to serve as part of the elite group of reservists in the United States Army JAG Corps. Mr. Buster expects to receive his commission in 2017 and intends to serve his country and MH and his client with distinction.
Mr. Buster is also a member of the Auburn Hills Zoning Board of Appeals.
